Hong Kong Cha Chaan Teng’s are without a doubt quite famous. How do they translate in Singapore? Tai Cheong has a decent on in Holland Village, how do others do it? Honolulu Cafe gives it a shot.
Let’s check out the menu.
Well, I have to go with the standards and comfort foods that I know from Hong Kong and Cha Chaan Tengs. This is the Honolulu Coffee.
Egg Tart! This one is quite nice. The crust is pretty good and the filling is nice and light.
Decided to try the Beef Hor Fun. The noodles are not as wide as usual like in Hong Kong. The beef was pretty salty, overmarinated I thought, and it was just okay in my book.
You can also get the items to takeaway.
Worth checking out again. Let’s see what they got.
