I have not been to Beach Road Prawn Mee on East Coast Rd in such a long time. When I first came to Singapore in 2006, it was one of the first places that was introduced to me. It has to be at least 8 years since I have been here.
I remember the depth of flavor in the broth and the tastiness of the Prawn. I found myself in the area so went for it. The prices are a little higher than before though…
It’s like I remember, but it didn’t have the magic that I remember. Not sure why though. The flavor is there, the Prawns are fresh. But it just seems like something is missing. I am not sure what it is.
