Ask anyone who knows me about cafes. They know I don’t really go for them even though I love coffee and brunch.
But there are some times that I do go for them. Today was one of them.
Communal Coffee is one of those cafes in the shophouses on Prinsep Street. It can get lost amongst everything there but it stands out on its own. A cafe by day and event venue at night – nice!
The menu is pretty typical of a cafe
For the food we went with Eggs Benedict and Build Your Own Brunch.
The Benedict was average, tasted good but nothing special. Build Your Own is pick an egg style, protein and sides. This is a Poached Egg with Sausage, Cheese and Tobiko.
Flat White and Long Black were awesome renditions of the coffee as the barista knew what he was doing.
