A trend that is starting in Singapore is some company will gather famous Hawkers and ask them to be a part of a collective so that diners can have a food court of their Hawker favorites.

Hawker Street in Ion is just that. Featuring Nam Sing, Famous Eunos, King of Fried Rice, Beach Road Curry Rice, etc, it’s a showcase for some famous brands.

I decided to give it a shot one day.

Nam Sing is a long wait at Old Airport Rd, but here it was 20 minutes. The taste and flavor to me are the same. A great way to get a chance to enjoy it.

Beach Road Scissors Cut Curry Rice was also up to the standard with their Signature Curry Rice.

Famous Eunos Bak Chor Mee was pretty good and pretty affordable at $5.50 for the Signature Bowl.

The prices are slightly higher than the original stores, but the convenience and non-wait is worth it to me.
