Had a lunch date with my wife and wound up in sleepy Clarke Quay at lunchtime. Burpple had a deal at Cuba Libre, so in we went!

Went for the Cubano, as it is called Cuba Libre, and the Havana Burger.

The Cubano was not so close in flavor for me. Could have been pressed a bit more and more oomph on the meats inside.

The Havana is a steak burger and was decent with tender steak in the sandwich.

But the vibe I get is that the food here is an afterthought, it’s more of a place to drink and then order drunk eats.
