Versailles claims to be the most famous Cuban restaurant that there is. So of course, I had to check it out.
Located in a sleepier part of Little Havana, it’s quite big and there always seems to be a wait to get in. For us, a party of 3 waited about 15-20 minutes.
The famous Cuban Sandwich is considered a must here so we got it. Great flavors, but I wanted more dressing.
The Seafood Gratin was large and definitely packed with ingredients and flavor. This was served with a side of Fried Plantains and Rice.
The mixed Croquettes were crispy and fresh. They contained Ham, Chicken and Cod Fish.
I want to try more of their items, but our stomachs are only so big.
Versailles also has a bakery on premises with local baked goods.
We went for the Guava Melting Cookies and also the Sugar Melting Cookies. The Chocolate Brownie is also a nice addition.
Key Lime Pie is a Florida staple, along with a Chocolate Cream Shell and a Chocolate Angel Wing.
