I have heard so much about 88 Hong Kong Roast Meat and up until now have not tried it.

So I stopped by and got the Char Siew Siew Yoke Fan all together.

The Siew Yoke was spot on! Tender meat and crispy skin, just the right amount of fat and meat in the meat.

The Char Siew was a little disappointing to me. The fat ratio was not quite HK standard. It was good, but a little dry. The Siew Yoke was much better. And the sauce a little too salty for me.

A second visit and I went with the individually plated Char Siew and Siew Yoke and the verdict is the same – Siew Yoke is sublime and Char Siew a little dry.

Last but not least, I da baoed Roast Pork and Duck Rice and some Wanton Mee. The Pork is still awesome, but the Duck a little salty. The Char Siew on the Wanton Mee though was excellent this time! This noodle was pretty good.

A mixed bag on the Char Siew, but the Siew Yoke is a must though!
