Portorosa is one of the institutions for Italian food in Fremantle. Located right on the Cappucino Strip, the food tells you why it is regarded as such.

We saw some good choices on the menu and went for them.

Seafood Risotto. The Risotto could have used a little more time to make it softer, but it was good, though salty.

Beef Masala. This is the first time we had a beef version of this, but the taste was right on.

Crab Pasta with Pesto Sauce. This one was interesting, as it had a lot of ingredients, but a little on the salty side.

The Meat Lovers Pizza was good, as the Pizza Oven was fired up nicely.

The Salad was needed to give some relief to the salt and oil.

A nice place to have some good Italian in Freo, but prepare for salt.
