Hot Chicken is a Nashville speciality. One of the places considered to be at the introduction of Hot Chicken is Prince’s Hot Chicken.

Set in a strip mall in a small neighborhood, the simple place offers you varying degrees of hot on your chicken.

For us, we got Hot and Medium. Hot was just spicy enough, Medium not spicy enough. But the chicken was juicy and tender and the spice was just right to enjoy it immensely.

The dry rub on the batter, mostly consisting of Cayenne for the spice, made it extra tasty.
