There are a lot of good BBQ places in Nashville and Hogwood considers itself Artisanal.

What better way than to get a sampler?

The Ribs – Fall off the bone and a great rub.

Smoked Turkey – not as dry as I would have thought and there was a ton of taste in a usually bland turkey breast.

Brisket – good taste but I like mine with more fat than what they had here.

Pulled Pork – tender and full of flavor also.

Jalapeno Cheddar Sausage was pretty decent with the chili kick coming later on.

The Mac and Cheese was pretty artisanal with the Parmesan Chip and the Potato Salad was full of flavor from plenty of herbs
