We went for two different plates.
Fried Catfish with BBQ Cauliflower. The Catfish is a standard in the South. The BBQ Cauliflower, never heard of it before and it was interesting. The sauce was too sweet on top so it masked the grilled taste of the vegetable. A salad also came with it.
Fried Shrimp with Sweet Potato Fries and Broccoli with Cheese. Fries to perfection but we didn’t know the cheese was the Kraft Parmesan style. We assumed it was Velveeta or melted cheese. Gave it a strange taste.
A good last meal in the South for us.
