Shanghai Tan specializes in 生煎包 and 小笼包, two things I love.

So we tried it out one afternoon for lunch.

The 生煎包 was full of soup inside, and fried nicely on the bottom. It is so full of flavor.

The 小笼包 we ordered in two varieties, original and with crab roe. Both full of broth and flavor. So good.

Pork Chop Noodles was pretty good as the pork chop was the star. Big and still moist. The broth however was a little bland.

The Preserved Vegetable and Shredded Pork Noodles were full of ingredients and tastier than the Pork Chop Noodles.

The Hot and Sour Soup was a disappointment as it was pretty watery and had neither enough hot or sour.

Go for the 生煎包 and 小笼包 and you won’t be disappointed at all.
