I went on an eating exploration with my friend Kevin Cox from Foodwalkers.com and I wanted to introduce him to the Tampines Round Market, which he had never been to before. Unfortunately a lot of stalls were closed, but he had always wanted to try Armenian Street Char Kway Teow.
I hadn’t heard of it being well-known before, but, I am always willing to try.
We were there a little early, so the old uncle was not cooking yet, we got his son/apprentice to cook. I think there might have been a difference.
Now, granted, it looks great, but it was a little cold because we waited a little before we ate. I didn’t find it quite sweet enough and it didn’t quite meld together. But, very nice and serviceable and good.
