How about Thai food as a break from German food?  In the Westpark area there is Rüen Thai, where the owners told us they get their ingredients from Thailand!  Is it authentic?  I would guess that it is adjusted to German tastes, but we’ll see.

If you know me, you know I like to try the Green Curry Chicken no matter where I go.

A little sweeter than normal, but there is still that authentic taste.  Quite nice.

Tang Hoon with Seafood.  Not exactly claypot, like we like it, but it’s still quite nice.

In the end, it’s a nice place for good Thai food.  It is a bright light in the dark German food scene, because you need to get away from it.
