Ho Chi Minh is the master at having hidden places to eat. We walked under an arch and inside of this huge courtyard were 4 different restaurants and a huge stage! The stage was for a Middle Eastern restaurant that had Belly Dancers. Instead, we went to Hoa Tuc, a nice casual Vietnamese place.
We started with a mixed platter. It had all the classics as you can see. Fresh, vibrant and delicious.Pumpkin Flowers stuffed with Fish Paste and deep fried. Wow.
Sweet Pork Ribs. Lovely!
Crab Meat Bean Vermicelli. So nice and full of wok hei.
It’s going to be a little more expensive than a lot of other places in HCM, but I tell you, the food is really, really good!
