I love heading back to Seattle because there is always something interesting to eat there. I heard about China Pie, a place where they serve Pizza with Chinese/Asian ingredients. Why not give it a try?
It was a snowy, rainy day in Seattle so it wasn’t too busy when I got there around 6:30pm. Sat at the bar and asked the bartender what to eat. So many choices!
I decided to try some of their Pork and Shrimp Dumplings with Black Bean Chili Sauce. I can’t say it was great, I’ve had much better. Should have tried their Chicken Pho Dumplings, which came highly recommended.I did go for the Brussels Sprouts though. I love Brussels Sprouts, I really do. This was Roasted with Chili, Garlic and Grana on top. What a great taste.
I had to try the pizza, since the place is called China Pie right?
I went for the Uncle Sau. This is a Caramel Fish Sauce, Pork, Jalapenos and Cilantro Pesto topped with Mozzarella and Grana.
Wow. Amazing crust and amazing toppings. I could eat that for days.I wish I had room to try their Tikka Sausage pizza, that sounded real good!
Either way, this place is one I would come back to!
