It’s that time of year!  The annual Ramadan Bazaar at Geylang Serai.  It’s hot, humid, crowded and you can only take it for a small amount of time, but it’s fun!

Went on a Sunday evening around 6pm.  In hindsight, a bit of a mistake as it just started to get busy as people started to Break Fast and it was a weekend to boot.

A lot of interesting usual items, so let’s take a look and see! We started with something simple.  The Cheezy Gourment Hot Dog.Less than stellar. Next up was Loco Loco and the Scotch Egg that I had been hearing so much about.It looked interesting, but did it deliver?  It was only ok for me. The Thai Milk Tea Soft Serve on the other hand was awesome! We started to queue to get the Rainbow Burger (Handsome Burg) from Word.  But about 30 minutes in and the prospect of another 45 minutes to 1 hour wait just to order, we abandoned hope and just went for drinks. This was a big drink!  Cream Soda with blue flavoring and some Sour Plum and Lemongrass.  Not bad! Then next was DenDeng Duo and I had to go for the Taco DenDeng. Quite interesting and not bad at all. Then I had to try the DenDeng Burger, which was just a beef burger.Finished it off with some Sotong Bakar, which was a little overdone. We have to try to get back there another night to try other things.
