Miam Miam – Bugis

Japanese fusion is a huge thing these days.  How do you make Western-style Japanese food?  Miam Miam tries to do it.

Located in Bugis Junction, this is quite a popular place.

Here we go with the food, does it live up to the hype?

Pork Kurobota Rice.  It looks a little interesting, the pork was tender, but not sure about the taste of it.

Mentaiko King Crab Squid Ink Pasta.  This was interesting with the chunks and shreds of Crab.  Lobster Tomato Cream Spaghetti.  Looked interesting, but a little thin on the sauce. Wagyu Beef Rice.  This wasn’t bad at all, the beef was tender, but it needed a little more sauce than the small bowl they provided. Then came dessert.  One tried the Creme Brulee.  It looked pretty normal.

But the signature dessert is their French Toast.  This was pretty awesome.  Soft, warm French Toast with syrup, whipped cream and soft serve.  Yum.

The food isn’t bad, but it is nothing special.  The price is a little high though, this whole thing was around S$130.  That is a high price for four to eat.
