The food I grew up with – American style Cantonese cooking. Not Chinese Takeout, where you get Chicken Chow Mein, Beef and Broccoli, Egg Rolls and Sesame Chicken, but restaurants like this which are in all cities in the US where Cantonese and Taishanese immigrants have settled.
These restaurants are dotted in these areas and Golden Sand Harbor is one of them.
They almost all look the same inside.
And the food is plain awesome.

I miss these staples of my youth living in Singapore where the Chinese food is great, but you just can’t get it like this.
