About Me

I was born and raised in New York City and lived in Singapore for 8 years. In 2014 I moved to Seattle, and I had a new base to check out foodwise. But now at the end of 2015, I am back in Singapore, and still traveling and eating around the world.

I travel quite a bit, I love to cook, but I also love to eat out.

Here I will share with you the love of life that I have, particularly through food and travel. So come join me and all the friends I have made along the way!

USCHO Bracketology

I'm also the Bracketologist for USCHO.com, where we try to predict the NCAA Division I Men's Ice Hockey Championship. Here's the Bracketology Blog. From 2011-2014 I had it pegged right on the button. 2015 was a little off, but I came back to nail it on the nose in 2016. In 2017, I was off a bit, but there's always 2018!

MasterChef Australia

MasterChef Australia

I’ve always said that the Australian version is by far the best version in the MasterChef franchise. Compare it to the US version? No comparison.

It’s time for Season 12!

I am heartbroken that Matt, Gary and George are not back for Season 12, so I am not sure on the hosts.  But this year, they are bringing back some favorites to try and win the title!

My favorite is Reynold, I hope he wins it, he is hands down who I am rooting for.

Laura is definitely being set up as the favorite this season and am surprised Dani went home so soon.  I am rooting against her for sure.

If I had to guess at a Final Five right now, I would go with Reynold, Laura, Poh, Reece and Khanh (I am wrong here), with Reynold, Laura and Poh as my top three (I was wrong about Poh, and looks like Emelia is there, the other two are on track).

But I think that Emelia and Brandon (Brandon is gone now) are sleepers here and I don’t think Callum and Tessa will make the Top 5 (Callum still has a chance).

NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am so saddened that Reynold is gone.  Next time I a in Sydney, I will be at Koi and Monkey’s Corner for sure.

I am riding the Emelia train right now, and that’s where it wound up.  Congrats to her!
